Although last for Mumbai team, but really exciting & equally enthusiastic event of the 5th phase of PROJECT HOPE 2019. All volunteers were full of energy even after past 6 months of hard-work for event preparations.
ON the 23rd June 2019, The team distributed stationery to Zilla Parishad schools Falyan, Mangaon Khurd, Vave, Karchundi, Dand Katkarwadi, Mulshi Katkarwadi, Pawsala and Kalamb Thakurwadi.
All these are very remote villages but gifted with beautiful, serene nature. It’s spectacular during rainy season, but unfortunately the villages kids don’t have umbrellas or rain coats and it becomes difficult for children to reach school, yet they are eager to attend and somehow manage to come to school regularly. The teachers are truly motivation for them, while parents also encourage for education nowadays.
All kids are smart and talented, they were quite friendly with our volunteers and also sang some songs and rhymes. Students at VAVE SCHOOL were well versed in handling computer and tablet, which was surprising and satisfying for our volunteers. These tribal Kids are learning, progressing for better brighter future. And that gives us also motivation to continue our work of distributing stationery, e-learning kits, computers to such needy schools and kids.
We definitely look forward to cover more schools and see more such humbles smiles next year
