About Fandry Foundation

Fandry Foundation was founded in 2012, since then we are actively working towards education, health and empowerment of tribal areas of Maharashtra.

The Epiphany Moment

A couple watched a movie named Fandry and is moved by the plight shown of tribal communities across Maharashtra. With an intent of trying to make a small difference in their capability, an appeal is made on Facebook on 25th May 2014 to donate usable clothes for tribal people & educational material for tribal students. The appeal of donation not only receives a huge response but also gets bolstered by the request of many youngsters who wished to work towards the same noble cause.

In a short span of one year, teams in three different regions of Maharashtra are formed consisting of more than 200 dedicated youth volunteers. A pure intent, a humble appeal and selfless dedication of volunteers transforms this help activity into a registered organization called Fandry Foundation on March 23, 2015.

The foundation of Fandry foundation is no short of a movie plot itself. But the sheer dedication and perseverance to work towards betterment of tribal areas of Maharashtra has made this Mumbai based organisation one of the trusted source to help the tribal areas in terms of education and empowerment.
